The name Expea combines the concepts of Experience, Energy and Alperia. It represents the idea of not only explaining energy but making it accessible and understandable while also referring to Alperia, South Tyrol's largest energy service provider and the creator of the experience centre.
Through interactive experiments, digital installations, and the historic Cardano hydropower plant, Expea creates a unique place where knowledge, entertainment, and inspiration come together. Expea makes visible what often remains unseen: the energy that powers our daily lives.
